A traditional Japanese uchiwa fan, handmade in Japan from natural bamboo and hemp. The design features three softly drawn white birds against a pale blue-grey background, with a sweeping deep green form below — a quiet, almost painterly composition with a distinctly Japanese sensibility.
The muted colours and beautifully simple bird motif give this fan a particularly serene quality, while the natural texture of the hemp remains visible beneath the design.
